The Nwadialor Philanthropic Foundation (NPF), an NGO initiative of Chief Michael Odiakosa, the Nwadialor of Idumuje-Unor and Osigie of Issele-Uku has commenced bulldozing activities in an attempt to grade the Ogbeakwu Quarters farm road in his Idumuje-Unor hometown.
It is further learnt that the philanthropic gesture is the second phase of the project in the Aniocha community of Anioma in Delta State.
“The ultimate intent is to open up the area for development,” Chief Nwadialor announced in a press release posted to his Facebook page.
“I enjoin the NDDC or Delta State Government to assist with asphalt work,” the release further stated.
The Idumuje-Unor farm road is considered strategic as it connects the Onicha-Ugbo community from which other communities can be further linked. It is believed that the grading of the road will not only open up the axis but effectively link the two communities together and viably enable farmers to enjoy easy motorable access to work, produce and market.
Atlanta-based Chief Michael Onyekali Odiakosa, in the USA, is renowned for his provision of charity beyond his immediate community to other Anioma towns. He currently plans a free medical outreach program in Onicha-Olona, another Aniocha community following a recent one that was held in Akwukwu-Igbo, headquarters of the Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.
