Who is Anioma’s Highest Ranking Nigerian Police Officer?

The recent promotion of Nigerian Police Officers by the Police Service Commission led PEN MASTER to go in search of information regarding the highest serving Nigerian Police Officer of Anioma extraction.
The Anioma Region peopled by Enuani, Ika, and Ndokwa is geographically located in Delta State, a region known for its greatness in human capital with the indigenes contributing their quota to the nation’s development and beyond.
The Pen Master search somewhat suggested that Anioma’s highest serving Police Officer, a male, enjoys the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) and fortunately, this Police Chief is from the Ika axis of the Anioma Nation.
MEET AIG GODWIN AGHAULOR
AIG Godwin Aghaulor hails from Ute Okpu Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State. The Police Chief is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he studied History, making him versatile with classical knowledge on matters of humanities.
Dutiful, experienced, and hard-working Aghaulor has served in several quarters and departments, strategically demanding the services of an experienced Police Officer. Further information shows that he has at various times, served as the Commandant of Police College, Kaduna, and Deputy Commissioner of Police who was in charge of Administration, Sokoto.
In Ebonyi State, AIG Godwin Aghaulor was effectively positioned in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department before his promotion to Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of the Zonal Criminal Investigation Department Zone 9 of Umuahia in Abia State.
The record of the Anioma man, AIG Aghaulor also shows that he was a member of the United Nations Mission in Sudan thus, beefing up his global police experience and profile in the Force. By every standard, AIG Aghaulor is a globally accredited Nigerian Police Officer.
He was also at various times in his career, Assistant Commissioner of Police in Charge of Homicide Section, FCID Abuja, and Director of Studies Police Staff College, Jos. He has been the DPO of Anaocha Division in Anambra State, Ajali Division in Anambra State, and Elelenwo and Ozuoba Divisions, both in Rivers State, Nigeria.
In 2023, he assumed office as the seventh AIG, Zone 13 Headquarters, Ukpo in Anambra State where he is at the moment.
