Jubilation as US Air Force Promotes Augustine Ugbaja, Anioma Man from Ubulu-Uku

Ubulu-Uku indigenes from different quarters have celebrated their illustrious son, Augustine Ugbaja.
Augustine Ugbaja was recently promoted by the United States of America Air Force to the rank of Senior Airman and
the Ubulu-Uku-born US Military Officer took to his Facebook page to announce his promotion with congratulatory messages from family and well-wishers accompanying his gratitude.
“Being promoted to a Senior Airman in the USAF is a moment that I will forever cherish,” the Senior Airman wrote on his Facebook wall.
“As I step into this new role, I am acutely aware that this promotion is not just an individual achievement, but a reflection of the collective effort of a remarkable team.”
He thanked his mother, Nkechi Ugbaja for being part of what he described as an incredible journey.”
“Together, we will continue to uphold the values of the United States Air Force and strive for excellence in every mission.”
Fortune Ngozi Onwordi was not left out in the celebration of his fellow Ubulu-Uku man. The foremost writer of Ubulu-Uku culture, wrote, “May God in His infinite mercies continue to promote and honour you in the name of Jesus Christ.”
SrA Augustine Ugbaja is the second son of the Late Mr. Patrick Ugbaja who was a foremost member of the Ubulu-Uku Vigilante Group, also described by indigenes as one who in his lifetime was a terror to armed robbers who dared to operate in the bank in the community.
SrA Augustine Ugbaja completed his secondary school in Anglican Grammar School, Ubulu-Uku, and went further to obtain his B.Sc Degree in Physics from the University of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.
