Awunor, Nammor, and Chimokwu Ready to Speak in Anioma Legacy Lecture

A trio of Anthony Awunor, Anthony Nammor, and Fidelis Chimokwu are Guest Speakers at the forthcoming Annual Anioma Legacy Lecture in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
Ubulu-Uku-born Journalist and multi-award winner, Anthony Awunor will speak on “Preservation of Anioma Ancestral Heritage: A Fresh Look at Anioma Indiscriminate Sale of Land,” Sir Anthony Nammor, a Consultant Engineer and Freelance Writer who is expected to fly in from the United States of America will speak on “The Man: Rev Fr. Dr. Kunirum Osia, His Memorial Ideals and Determined Pursuit of Anioma Selfhood in Contemporary Nigeria” while Mr. Fidelis Chimokwu, a Historian and International Relations expert will speak on “Leadership Cultivation: Imperative Recipe for Socio-political and Economic Advancement of Anioma.”
All three speakers will be present inside the Orchid Hotel, Asaba on Dec 22, 2023, to deliver the speeches.
The program themed “Ife Anioma Sor Anyi” is organized by the Anioma Watch Social Association (AWASA), a registered sociocultural organization of the Anioma people with members drawn from different walks of life.
The Anioma event planners also listed Prof Austin Uwandulu, the founder of the Academy for Governance as the Host.
The Organizing Secretary, Mr Peter Oshagwu has described the event as the first of its kind ever with a cream of bonafide Anioma renowned personalities from across every sphere of human endeavor, home and abroad, gracing the occasion.

It is believed that the event will guide the Anioma people on their developmental place in the country.
