Peter Nwaoboshi’s Anioma Home Return Sets Anioma Agog, Supporters and Party Faithful Dance Openly

Asaba, the Delta State capital was overtaken with joy that filled the air following the arrival of Senatorial Peter Onyeluka Nwaoboshi, the former Member Representing the Delta North Senatorial District of Delta State at the Nigerian Senate. The incarcerated Nigerian politician later discharged and acquitted by the country’s Supreme Court, touched down amid heavy downpour that welcomed his presence undeterred.
Hundreds of his supporters and other party faithful were seen chanting victorious songs that honoured the man fondly called “Oracle of Nigerian Politics.”
Many others also took to different Anioma social media forums to celebrate the return of the ‘political warlord.’ One Nwachukwu Enemosah called him “the Egghead of Delta politics”
“They tried but you have come out and back stronger. Lessons learnt! Gbayali (forgive),” Morgan Agetua, an Ibusa indigene posted to People of Oshimili North also called PoON.
Another commentator who made a post in Delta Politicians Forum, simply identified as JP, described the former lawmaker as the latest Supreme Court precedence setter.

Respite came the way of Lawmaker, Peter Nwaoboshi on Friday, July 7, 2023, when the Supreme Court of Nigeria quashed his 7 years prison sentence thereby invalidating the money laundering charge the Economic and Financial Crime Commission brought against him.
